Just saw it today, taking a group of kids (9-10) along for my daughter's 10th birthday party. I had no prior knowledge of this film, although I'm very fond of Dickens' original classic.Picture the scene: A group of reasonably rowdy kids, throwing popcorn at each other, no doubt expecting the classic Disney fare: cute animation, smart humour, neat special effects.
